The theme for World Health Day 2025 is "Healthy beginnings, hopeful futures". This year, the focus is on amplifying efforts to end preventable maternal and newborn deaths, and to prioritize women’s longer-term health and well-being. CAPS 3rd and 4th grade students enjoyed a fantastic visit with poet Aline Abdul, who shared her journey as a writer and inspired us with her creative process. She taught us to use the five senses for vivid imagery and to show, not just tell, our ideas. After the workshop, students proudly added their new pieces to their digital portfolios.
